Behind the Brand: How Tufty Studios Came to Life
Share
Hello! I’m Rosie – wedding stationery designer, small business dreamer, and the hands behind Tufty Studios.
Tufty Studios started as a creative outlet and has grown (somehow!) into a my little business I now pour my heart (and all free time!) into. If you're new here – welcome! This blog is where I’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes snippets, creative tips, gift ideas, and the odd bit of real-life chaos from running a small business while juggling mum life and a full-time job. It’s a lot, but it’s also magic.
From Cherish & Bloom… to Tufty Studios
Way back in the beginning, this little venture was called Cherish & Bloom. It started purely as a wedding-focused brand – all soft florals, romance, and pastel everything. But truthfully? I ended up absolutely hating it.
It felt too wishy-washy, too boxed in, and just not me. I love weddings (still do!), but I also love bold colours, playful design, modern gifting, and helping people celebrate more than just one big day.
So last month, I gave it a proper shake-up, rebranded, and launched Tufty Studios – a name with personality, heart, and a whole lot more creative freedom. And it’s honestly the best thing I ever did for the business (and for myself).
Why “Tufty”?
Tufty is the name of my childhood home – Tufty Farm – and it’s a place full of creativity, family memories, and the kind of messy magic that inspires everything I do. The name felt playful, personal, and rooted in something real. That’s what I want Tufty Studios to feel like too – heartfelt, creative, and a little bit nostalgic.
